Elvis' best film ever. This is a recent youtube upload comes from the Spa Guy who researches and puts up Elvis related videos like this over on his channel.
Legend has it that the movie 'King Creole' as we know it, was going to be 'The Rebel' James DEAN film but his tragic death (1955) meant that Michael Curtiz the producer had reworked the script (based on the novel 'A Stone for Danny Fisher) to a musical and several years later offered the role to 'The King' Elvis Presley.
Elvis was once quoted as saying King Creole was his favourite out of the 31 feature films he starred in.
Meanwhile a two parter here based on the sites in New Orleans by a friend of mine - The Spa Guy. Always he's researching and visiting a number of Presley locations.
