Congrats to Fashionista on a fantastic job scoring an interview with a line umpire at the Apia tournament in Sydney. :clap

Very good article, well done fashionista! :clap

I like the way they're called "line umpires" too, that's a new one for me. Comprehensive stuff, fascinating detail from the inside. Well done to our team, the best forum team on the web! :)

Actually 'line umpire' is the official name according to the ITF when I started doing my initial research.
In the interview, when I was asking questions,Troy always said 'line umpire'...:)

I had great feed back from the officials at Apia International,Sydney with the interview I did with the lines umpire.I was at Apia International yesterday for the womens singles and doubles final.I was speaking to Mr Glenn Toland who is the president to ANSW and Assistant Chief of Officials Apia International.Sydney,he was so impressed with the interview he posted it on their own website. He told me it has had a great response.Great news for Tennis Frontier indeed.
