Does Fanny Stollár have a funny or lewd name?

Educate me about the connotations of the word "Fanny" please. I ran into a problem before on another board when trying to type her name, namely that it was completely censored. I was surprised even though it was on a PC forum for 60+ grannies, but now i saw this picture where they misspelled her name for "Fanni" and it made me wonder. Is "Fanny" too rad for a first name?

I think in the US, it means "bum/butt"...

In the UK and Oz it means the female genitalia... although as a person's name it's not considered offensive..."Aunt Fanny" was made famous by British author Enid Blyton through her Famous Five books. Nick Faldo's female caddy was Fanny Sunesson - although she was from Sweden.
