Go Gulbiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!
I'm sorry, but Gulbis is a waste of space. I know you support him as a joke, but sadly, he plays tennis as one, as well.

I do have some fun supporting Gulbis, but I confess I mildly root for him. Sums of a lot of small factors, I like his odd forehand, like his name, different country, everybody complains his father is a billionaire... and the thing I really like about the guy is that he gives honest interviews -- even if sometimes he says stupid things. So most of the time I genuinely find my self rooting for him. Not that much, but still....

The guy that I root for totally as joke -- which in fact I have some antipathy towards, is good old Rosol....

If you like that forehand, then I really do ask you about other games that you find "ugly." Because that FH is seriously ugly. And yes, he can speak plainly, but he's also a whoremonger and a brat. What's to like, really?

Thought I was losing it being old and senile! Saw Tiafoe playing someone called Humbert and figured I lost track of my days! I remember someone by that name losing in Marseille recently, but found they're 2 different people! Herbert's the double's specialist who played FAA tough yesterday! :thinking-face:  :pleading-face:

Humbert is a promising young 21y old French player. I remember him when he beat Felix in Wimbledon in R3 last year, when both youngsters had their best run to date in a slam.
Today Humbert hammered Tiafoe 6-1, 6-2, not bad :)

Congrats to Nishioka on reaching the finals. He will now have to face one of the big servers in the finals.

Nishioka is the PR (Pocket Rocket) of Men's Tennis.

I will be rooting for him against either of the trees.

Agreed. I’m watching the Opelka/Raonic SF now. I didn’t think tennis could be so boring.

It's over! Milos is going to be kicking himself! Up a set, having MP's in the 2nd set, then dropping a TB! The 3rd set appeared to be a formality! Raonic went away! "Congrats Reilly!" American tennis trying to hold onto one of their own tournaments! What a novel idea!  :lol6:

Nice title win for the young American, though.
