Possibly this has already been discussed in another thread (can someone please provide a link if it has?) but what are the compositional differences between a fast and slow hard court?
I know it's general knowledge that the AO, IW, and Miami have slower courts compared to the summer hard court swing, but what causes these differences exactly? Also, do tournament organizers determine the court's composition or is it the ATP that mandates it?
