I said they're boring to read and didn't mention anything about hurting anyone unless you read posts differently than everyone else and I also replied already that your post is at least a lot more reasonable. I don't post every day that Federer is going to win everything 'cos frankly I'm realistic and he's not going to win everything. It's gone beyond stupid with my sherona, especially after last weekend's final, which was Sharapova's best shot at beating Serena as I doubt we'll see her serving that badly again for a long, long time.

Unacceptable to who? A Sharapova fan who gets sensitive at every post made about her favourite player? You're not a mod and last time I read anything in this thread no one was complaining at my post besides you. Point to note, anytime my sherona posts something silly like Sharapova 1-0 at Wimbledon and sees a reply that yes, that's nice but 17 slams is > 4 you see no further trolling. He/she knows that his/her posts are just stirring the pot and pointless trolling. Nobody is bullying anyone here as I said 'cos my sherona knows damn well Sharapova is not going to dominate 2014 and his/her posts are simply to annoy people. And yeah, it's working well.

To me even freedom of speech has it limits - As long the comment doesn't attack someone - either it is a poster or a WTA player I'm all for freedom of speech - my sherona did not attack anyone - All he/she did was expressing his/her enthusiasm

If you've an unfavorable opinion about for example Masha's forehand - backhand - something else which concerns her tennis game or her conduct on court then it's fine by me to express such criticism - preferably in a civilized and respectful way - However - I'll always have something to say about uncalled attacks on a player's looks - completely ungrounded attacks on a players character and/or general condescending statements about any tennis player - I'll also always have something to say about bullies who bully members of this community because I find such behavior disgusting and the more thick skinned we become and the more often we except such behavior the more uncivilized and aggressive the conversation here will be in time

In my opinion every WTA player deserves respect - As I see it - we're not here to belittle fans by bashing their favorite any way we can but to enjoy good tennis and appreciate how players do in tournaments - If your favorite wins it's in my opinion good sportsmanship to credit her opponent instead of to deride or belittle her - Have I understood this wrong? - You guys who started this forum maybe should ponder a little about formulating a forum policy - Clear rules and/or boundaries which direct the users how to conduct and explain what kind of behavior is unacceptable - Starting up a site and just hope that people will behave well and rule by exception obviously doesn't work

I know that I've been contestable but if we all let our primitive instincts rule and think that we can say whatever insulting comments we want about tennis players we dislike or can bully our peers who happen to support a player we dislike then this forum isn't civilized but barbaric - This is my honest opinion and I'll stick by it

Actually, I agree with My Sheron'a comments on Sharapova's domination.
I have never seen any player dominate weaklings like Maria. In the first few
rounds, she really looks dangerous and takes out opponents with a score
line of 6-0, 6-0 (or at the most 6-2).
