Comparing WTA Stats between this year and 2013

These are very interesting. I noticed 2 key stats that really kind of explain Serena's year. It is also fun to really look at these stats because then you can see why the players have improved or experienced a decline.

Two very key stats for Serena between 2013 and 2014:

She placed 3rd in both 2nd service return points won and break points converted. In 2014, she is not even in the top 10 for either stat. She also dropped from 2nd in return games won to 8th in return games won.

My point is it is fun to look at the stats, and they certainly help tell a bit about the player's years. It helps paint a bit of a picture you see Ana I and Lucie on those lists which helps show why they improved.
