This should be a very interesting match.

Both players are equally unpredictable, but Rosol has been the better of the two thus far. My call is Rosol in 2/3.

Garcia-Lopez in 3, because it's clay and he's on a hot streak too. Good result so far for Rosol though.

I have to agree with general freaky:

rosol has more firepower also. so he has been on a bit of a roll and he can bring some finishing power to the table.

rosol in 3.

general freaky you need a sig and you need an avi for this place.

we will not do super sigs here. a much simpler one like the one I have will do.

Willy Lopez in 3. Bludgeoning usually doesn't take the day on clay. I watched some of GGL's match today v. Mayer. He's developing into quite the clay force.

GGL is talented for sure moxie. he can play on all surfaces.

his problem has been of inconsistency.

lets see if he can keep going in the right direction. a title will do him some good also.

Garcia-Lopez in three. I'll even go so far as to predict that he'll drop the first set.

I don't think either one has a title yet, so a lot on the line. I wouldn't call either "consistent," so we'll see who's nerves hold, I guess.

Just from memory, GGL won Bangkok in 2010 after beating Nadal. After checking, it looks like he also has a title from Kitzbuhel in 2009. Rosol hasn't even been to a final yet, so it definitely means more to him. I heard Rosol's dad just passed away, so that should give him lots of motivation!

we will have to employ a simple one here general freaky.

I know your players so stay tuned. there will be only 4 images in your sig here.

I think I will just post your sig right here. stay tuned.

just pick the one you like the best.

a forum without cools sigs is a forum without color, character, energy, and emotion.

And Rosol wins his first ever ATP level title. Where does this bring him to in the rankings with 250 points? Hope this brings his confidence to new levels.

I attended last night a party so I tuned in so late, than I caught ony the ceremony in the end.:D
It was an emotional one, indeed Lukas dedicated his win to his father's memory, who passed away 2 weeks ago.
Also during the introuction of GG Lopez, they mentioned GG Lopez had 2 titles to date ( Kitzbuhel, Bangkok), but this is his first final since 2010 and he just had a appendicitis surgery a month ago(!) .
Great job by both of them, to see 2 unseeded players in a final has to be a rarity

Lukas Rosol will be ranked 35 comes Monday, he started the year ranked 73.

Yep, his old man passed away from a stroke while watching Lukas playing Davis Cup.

Nice to see him win here.

Congratulations to Rosol, that is just too sad about his dad. I wish Rosol good luck and more titles in future. I watched that marathon DC doubles match vs Switzerland earlier in the year and I liked his attitude then.

Really? My Goodness
Worth to mention here, usually the trophy at the Bucharest Open is traditionally given to be taken home by those who won it 3 times. Gilles Simon accomplished that last year, therefore they have had created a brand new rosy crystal cup.
The organizers moved ny what Lukas has been through decided to make an exception and gave his this one for good, after his first win.

That's a nice gesture, great accomplishment for Rosol.
