Brussels Open ‏@Brussels_Open 4t

To make sure everbody gets this: we're very happy to welcome Caroline Wozniacki @Brussels_Open! She won the title in 2011. Welcome back!

Yeah - well good news to me but also a nessesary decision Caroline has taken. She needs matches before French Open.

The official list - which now also has Caroline - as 1st seed on a wild card - is as follows:

Now she is chilling with Rory and watching a movie with him in Monaco:

PS. Nice socks:)

Sources tell that Aga has withdrawn so Caroline will be seeded 1st.:

The draw for the third BNP PARIBAS FORTIS Brussels will now SATURDAY MAY 18 at 12h take place in the Royal Primerose Tennis Club, in the presence of Ms Dominique Monami and Ms Giulia Orlandi (WTA). A player from the main table will also be present at this event.

That will not be Agnieszka Radwanska. The defending champion of the BNP Paribas Fortis Brussels Open withdraw due to an injury.
"I have shoulder problems for a while and it seems to be getting worse. I'm afraid that's even worse, especially in view of Roland Garros and the grass season that is imminent. I therefore found that I had to withdraw. That is very unfortunate because I really wanted to defend my title in Brussels but I think it is a good decision. The tournament was very well organized last year, I had some excellent games just before Roland Garros. The tournament director is a very pleasant person and there was a lot of people in the stands. I really enjoyed the tournament and my week in Brussels. I will therefore try to get back next year. ".
The tournament management shall meanwhile to report that they are desperately looking for a viable replacement for the first seed.

Interesting, I wonder if she will play Paris and if not that means Li will be seeded #4

Which in terms of who's most likely to win she probably should be.

I think it's the blonde hair. Her record hasn't been good since and now she's battling a severe injury and losing points at a time when she needs alot of confidence.

30 player field makes it simple.
I hope Caro gets some matches under her belt, she does have Julia in her quarter.

Apparently, the Coco and Yulia match ended in bad terms. Apparently, Yulia said some not very nice things about Coco's game and Coco tweeted about it.

Sloane and Pironkova are dead even at one set a piece 1-1 in the decider and 40-40

It's a terrible match they both play a horrible tennis with in between excellent shots. It seems that they can't understand the way they play themselves. Match suspended during darkness. Standings 62 26 22

Simona Halep pulled out due to Calf injury and although Coco lost the final qualifying match, she got in as Lucky Loser.
would it be interesting if Yulia Putintseva has to play Coco in the main draw again?
