Not at all. Nando has explicitly griped about Barcelona in the past. I think Barcelona was paying Rafa and Ferrer some appearance fee and did not give him any in the past and so he has openly griped about the tourney.

Further his ranking being so low, he might not even have made it to the Barcelona entry list (especially considering entry lists get formed as per the rankings 6 weeks before the tourney begins).

Turns out to be a very good decision by Fernando to come to play in Bucharest, he has already gained 26 ranking positions by reaching the final.
