About Munich:

Munich, the capital of Bavaria, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums. The city is known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration and cavernous beer halls, including the famed Hofbräuhaus, founded in 1589. In the walkable Old Town, Marienplatz is a central square containing landmarks such as Gothic Neues Rathaus (town hall), with a popular glockenspiel show.

The city has also hosted the Olympic Games and is home to Bayern Munich, Germany's most decorated football club.

Munich has a rich tennis history with The International Tennis Championships of Bavaria first held in 1900. The BMW Open by FWU AG was first staged at Munich’s Iphitos Tennis Club in 1974.

Goffin might be the top seed but I'm liking the look of Dominic Thiem here... I'd also like to see continued progress from young Sascha Zverev.

Me too. I even picked Dominator to win in the bracket challenge (not that it means he will win):)

Zverev and Fognini in action tomorrow, and Del Potro, who plays Dustin Brown. Oh, and Gulbis lost today to Dodig. :p

Bad weather stopped the remainder of Tuesday's play. Alexander Zverev a break down at 4-5 to Jaziri (same guy he lost to last week)

Looks like Bert was right. So many matches I was looking forward today. They're way behind.

Zverev turns it around against Jaziri and takes it in three. Sweet revenge for last week.

Estrella Burgos gave Goffin a scare... got to love Vic, as @scoop said "bit of a Rocky Balboa" plugging away.

Zverev glides into the last 8 with a comfortable win over Lukas Rosol.
