About Munich:

Munich, the capital of Bavaria, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums. The city is known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration and cavernous beer halls. In the walkable Old Town, Marienplatz is a central square containing landmarks such as Gothic Neues Rathaus (town hall), with a popular glockenspiel show.

The city has also hosted the Olympic Games and is home to Bayern Munich, Germany's most decorated football club.

Munich has a rich tennis history with The International Tennis Championships of Bavaria first held in 1900. The BMW Open by FWU AG was first staged at Munich's Iphitos Tennis Club in 1974.

Looks like among the three lowly tourneys, this one has the best field out there.

I'm still wondering what's going on with Chung and Schwartzman.

Chung strained his ankle and had to withdraw from Monte Carlo. It was a minor injury. Let’s see if he and AZ will meet in the semi.

This has to feel like a German clay championship, with 3 locals in the SF.

Chung vs. Sascha. Alex doesn't have a good record against him. We'll have to see how it plays out

After going down 0-3 in the opener, Alex turned it around. Good job not to lose another match against his next gen nemesis. Makes it to the final to defend his title. :good:
