I just noticed there's a minor error on that chart - Jim Courier should be between Sampras and Agassi as he is a couple months younger than Andre and about a year older than Pete. There should be an "04" in that date line rather than "05." Oh well.

Thanks Dude! That's a great write up. :clap

I hope Fed stays around for at least 5 more years. I know that's asking a lot, but it looks like the current crop of youngsters need that amount of time to get good. :cover

Excellent post, as always, El Dude. I learn a lot from your writings.

aside from Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, he is almost certainly the best player in the game, and it is hard to imagine a quick and immediate drop-off any time soon.

Agreed. Honestly, I can see Federer sticking around for another 3 years easily. I can even see him go 5 if his body holds up.

Thanks - I do too! Actually, that is why I write them: to learn. Or rather, I get interested in researching a topic then decide that I might as well share it.

Really great stuff dude! Very level-headed. It can be hard to appreciate what our players give us as fans when they are no longer on top, but you do a great job. It seems like the type of article about him and aging that Fed might even be able to enjoy.

Stop it, you are spoiling him.

I fact, I doubt that he can keep up with this interesting posts for another five years.

Maybe I'll retire at the same time as Roger ;).
