Thanks, kskate. Yeah, of the six big nations, the US and Australia have some promising young players, Sweden only one or two, Switzerland and Spain none on the horizon. Most of the young talent is coming from...well, I'll talk about that in part six.

Very good analysis. One thing that is interesting is that there might be a renaissance of traditional tennis nations in a few years. Australia already has promising young players in the top 100, and the U.S. has a lot of younger guys who have been great in the juniors and show serious promise (although with all of them it is way to soon to make any serious predictions).

Yes, true - although as you say, at this point we should be only cautiously hopeful. Sweden too with the Ymer brothers.
