This is a ridiculous conclusion, and you know it. But one thing that Djokovic and Federer fans don't want to acknowledge is your stats as above, or that Nadal has the highest winning pct. at Majors. Rafa: .879, Novak: .868, Roger: .860.

It's not a ridiculous conclusion, this is a very important stat. Federer being dominated like that by his 2 main rivals is not a good look at all. Sure I exaggerated by saying "average" and "punching bag" but the point is Nadal is at a clear advantage.

I agree about the highest winning pct. at Majors, that's another important stat and Nadal leads yet again.

But that's exactly what I meant...that you can't really call Federer "average" or a "punching bag," at least not without sounding ridiculous. However, I do appreciate your pointing out these stats. Federer and Djokovic fans like to bring in the weeks at #1, and talk of dominance, to downplay this. But however much they like the word "dominance," they ignore it when it comes to Nadal over the other 2 at Majors, and over the field at Majors, on average. This is where they forget that the Majors, and performance at Majors, is the main argument for GOAT status. Look, I don't think we're going to get one GOAT out of this era. Their stats are too close, and the levels of performance too high by all 3. But you do a good job to remind folks who would like to elbow Rafa out.

Exactly they obsess about weeks at number one while they try to dismiss slams h2h, Olympics, 2 slams on each surface, winning %, etc.

I believe that Nadal will end with 22-24 slams, Federer at 20 and Djokovic at 17-18. If that’s what happens then Nadal will clearly be the GOAT. But as of now they are still very close although Djokovic is definitely third as he trails them by 3 slams.

Nadal beating Federer is more telling considering he was in his prime for the duration of those matches. Djokovic beating Federer is more down to their age gap as he was in his mid 30s while Novak was at the very peak of his powers.

I rate all three similarly, there's not much separating them.
