Based on those stats, it easily serena !!! But, there's also another factor : Nadal did all this after 7-8 months rest ( due to injury ).
I'd go with rafa for the sole reason : it was an incredible comeback !! had it not been for a comeback, i would've voted for serena for sure !! :)

I'm a huge Rafa fan, but I would still vote for Serena based on these stats. Her year was so good, it made the top 10 list of single-season winning percentages.

how stupid is this? who would compare two different leagues consisting of totally different players? it's like, is it more impressive for JMac to beat Lendl on the seniors tour or Nadal to beat Djoker.... they are simply not on level playing field. For that reason, Serena's win is nothing compared to Nadal's.... which is against the best in the business.

Nadal's season because he was returning from injury and playing against a pretty tough field. Serena was already the best player in the world by a country mile.

If we simply want to base this on stats, then there's no point of even voting, since Serena's stats are better. I do think there's more to a good season than that, though.
