Just in case this doesn't get a ton of traffic, I thought I'd let you know that this showed up on this forum a couple months ago, and we already Ooohed and Aaahed it. But it is definitely some amazing stuff. Love me some Fedporn.

Federer has been in the most slam finals with 26, but has lost his last two, and three of the last four--nine losses in total. He was once 17-7, and now is 17-9. He has the record for winning his first seven slam finals, by the way. His first final loss in a slam was Paris in 2006 to Nadal. Incredibly, since Paris in 2006 (Federer won the Australian before Paris that year for his seventh straight major vitory, by the way), Roger has won 10 majors to Novak's 9 and lost as many finals as Novak (8). Since that Roland Garros in 2006, Nadal has won 12 majors and lost 6 finals. So, for ten years these guys have been right there with one another. Roger has been in 19 finals, while Rafa has made it to 18 finals since Roger's first loss in a grand slam final (to Rafa on clay). Novak has been to 17 finals since that time. Rafa has since then won two more majors than Roger and three more than Novak. It has been ten years since Roger first lost in a major final. Just food for thought.

If you're going to slate the guy, at least get the facts right!

Still nowhere near Milos's record of being forever undefeated in a tournament (San Jose) :snicker

Forget a tournament. Look at the record on a particular surface. No, I am not talking grass. Fed has lost many times in grass. Fed is unbeaten on blue clay all over the world. Moreover, he is the only such person and this record will probably never be broken. :)

Lendl had 11... and without looking up I'm not even sure that's a record.

So Federer needs to "work well" to break Lendl's records. Why not start at USO ??
