Best players to never win a Slam?

This is a fairly common discussion, so I decided to do some research. In the video below you can see which players I believe are the best to never win a slam. Some have been very close - just a set away - while others had huge talent that never really paid off like many thought it would.

Nice list, although the big name missing is Tom Okker, who could arguably be #1. He played during the early years of the Open Era, but was very good and deserves mention.

I'd also rank numerous players ahead of some of the ones you ranked. Berdych, Tsonga, Gottfrield, Solomon, Corretja, Clerc, Haas, Ramirez, etc, all deserve consideration.

Borg personally kept players like Harold Solomon, Eddie Dibbs, and so many other dirters who just weren't as good as him from winning French Opens! Vilas only got his due to Borg skipping the event in '77! :p :nono :angel: :dodgy:
