I'm enjoying the opening match between Dan Evans and Aiden McHugh.

Started yesterday.
Being held in Aberdeen I believe.
The kilts are out in force in the team Scotland box

They are using AO balls I notice.

Nice to see some competitive tennis in the off season.
It's competitive as England / Scotland sports are always spicey.

A. Murray played Draper yesterday evening too.
I shall watch that after this.

Using the app on my smart TV the BBC had hidden it pretty well!
Not on the front screens, not under sport or T for tennis!
Had to search for Battle of the Brits..

Andy Murray won a close fought match against Jack Draper.
6-3, 1-6 12-10 (I think it was on the 10pt match tiebreak)!

Pretty good match.

All set for day 2 when that pops up on the Iplayer

Skupski and Jubb def the Scottish pairing of J Murray and O'Mara in the first of the doubles matches.

Evans def. A. Murray on a match tiebreaker. 6-4, 3-6, 10-8
Pretty good match.

England lead 5-1
