I read that article both tennis.com and Reuters articles. I didn't get this perspective from her. I only see her saying she learned alot from last year's final and that it made her stronger. Theoretically she's already proven she learned from that match when she served for the match at Doha and beat Serena in the final.

I still like her attitude. Belief is more than half the battle. The rest is execution.

The individual whom started the post always writes it's about beating, dethroning or something relating to Serena be taken down when the actual interview makes no such reference. Just someone trying to start something.

I think Serena is hungry. I think she realized she blew it at Wimbledon, and she usually comes back stronger than before after defeat. She will definitely be the person to beat. This is her chance to finally defend a US Open title. I have faith she can and will with her closest competition Maria and Vika both coming off injuries it remains to be seen how they will return. I like Vika's attitude, but it takes more than belief to take down Serena.

The only way Pova can beat Vika in two sets on HC is if Vika is injured. On an average day, Pova should win on clay and Vika should win on HC. Wishful thinking does not make things reality. Therefore, I am picking Vika and Serena for the final. Lots of stuff can get in the way of my prediction. I am just speaking statistically.
