Happy New Year, all! Time to get back to the bracket challenges. I hope people will play. About one day left to fill your picks in, but the qualifiers and LL's are all filled in.

For those who haven't done it, or can't remember, here's the tutorial. (Thanks, @britbox, and I stole most of this post from you.)

Instructions
Video Tutorial Here:

In a nutshell...

If you aren't a member of the Tennis Frontier website (the one you're reading - sign up - top right and then we can track your score), then...

1. Goto http://www.tennisdrawchallenge.com/ and register a new account (if you haven't got an account already). Try and use the same username as you use on this website.

2. When you are registered, click the GROUP menu option (at the top) and join the Discuss.Tennis Group.

3. Then click BRACKET menu option at the top and you'll see the tournaments for either WTA or ATP. Click In the second column, you will see a "Make your picks now" link. Click on this to make your picks. You can toggle between ATP and WTA tournament listing by clicking the "WTA" and "ATP" buttons at the top.

You're playing for a place in the Hall of Fame! -https://www.tennisfrontier.com/tennisforum/pages/hall-of-fame/

Done mine already. The first rounds are always so fun. I normally spend 99.93% of my total time over R1 and R2. The hardest one to make a decision this time was Tabilo x Galan.

Let's hope you don't bring shame and ridicule on the forum like after the US Open. I heard @kskate2 and @tented had to go out in disguise for weeks after your shocking performance.

So much for the notion of a "bit of fun," and way to scare off the newbies. Tennis bracket challenge becomes Game of Thrones. Don't worry. I sent my minions after Mrzz. He sleeps with the fishes. Won't be hearing from him no more. Now, back to having a a casual laugh over tennis. Hehe.

I did mine. It took all of 2 minutes -- a combination of wishful thinking, picking names I like to pronounce, and pure guesswork.

I've done mine. Part of the draw between Berettini and Fognini is quite hard to predict. I could not resist with Kyrgios beating Nadal. The only problem with that match is Nick making sure it actually happens.

Too lazy to fill it up again (I do one in Racquet Bracket). Here is the gist.

Thiem to beat Nadal. Tits to beat Novak.

Fed lifts the trophy by beating Rublev in finals.

Fan of alliteration?

Not in particular... but it surely worked this time. In Kachanov's case, what I like is the pure strength of the name (even if his first name in Portuguese is feminine, somehow I can get it being completely masculine in Russian), so the repeating K's really don't play a role. But in Mmoh's case, even if the surname is the main reason I like, I cannot deny that reading M. MMoh sounds super cool. And in both cases I sympathize with the players...

Yes, in English Karen is also a woman's name. I like the nickname "Silent K," just because it's funny. One name I like to say is "Salvatore Caruso." Who wouldn't? Another favorite, for romantic, though he's not even in the tournament is Iñigo Cervantes.

Congratulations, @don_fabio, for the mid point lead. Also, honorable mention for @britbox 's enormous late effort so he made it to at least appear on the list. Two days ago we had to e-mail the site organizers to keep track of his position.
All I can say is thanks. I've been emailing those guys since Day 3 of the tournament to increase the pagination from 15 to 20 :lulz1:
