Today's top 3 matches to watch, IMO, are

1. Vika vs. Osaka. (Although exciting, Osaka is too young and inexperienced to win this one).
2. Madison Keys vs. Ana Ivanovic (Madison is bound to have a let down from last year's high).
3. Makarova vs. Pliskova (out with the old and in with the new).

Thank you for posting KSKate.
As GSM states above, those matches are most interesting. I'm hoping for Osaka to take a set off of Vika. I'm glad the match is at a decent time so I can see her in action.

I'm also looking at Konta's match. She might want to keep this flow going since taking down Venus and I honestly have no idea who her opponent is.
I think Kerber might take her match. Her retrieving skills will frustrate Brengle who is prone to histrionics.:s

Osaka is the real deal and its good that she is not under USTA otherwise they would ruin her morale. She seems composed for such a young player..

Strycova came to play. I forgot how feisty she was. Mugu looks very sluggish, Strycova consolidates her break in the 1st set

How could you forget Barbara. Don't you remember she was fussing about something on the court last year and at the end of the match Venus called her out about it. :snicker

It's looking real ugly out there right now. Two Top 10 seeds on the brink of early vacation in Australia (which isn't so bad). Both Muguruza and Pliskova down a set and a break
