There are two matches that I am interested in today.

1. Stan vs. Rosol (Stan is no Rafa :snicker)
2. Isner vs. Deliciano (Isner usually has some other appointments for second week).

^ As GSM states above, those matches are most interesting as well as the Ferrer vs. Stevie (why are they calling a grown man Stevie btw) Johnson. Think Ferrer will see that through.

At the beginning of the year, I was not so up beat about Roger's chances at this year's AO. In fact, I did not even pick him to make SF.

Suddenly, I am getting more optimistic due to following.

1. The courts seem to play faster and so it is not like Novak is a shoe in. Roger will still have
a puncher's chance. The lessons learned from going out in W & USO finals will help him
when he plays Novak in SF.

2. Also, the bounce seems rather low this year. Of course, this plays a major role when playing against Rafa, who is gone. But, the interesting point is that this low bounce adds a positive effect
to Roger's slices. Other players are finding it more difficult to handle.

3. Nick, who has never lost :)snicker) to Roger is gone.

4. Roger did not do the stupid thing of entering Mixed doubles with Hingis.

Typical that just when the weekend arrives and I'm actually able to stay up late to watch tennis with no work the next day the matches on are complete crap :nono Nothing I'd bother watching today at all. If it was on earlier I'd maybe watch a bit of Wawrinka v Rosol but that's it. Annoyed.

No tented, No Kirijax, No Brokenshoelace, No Iona, No several others, No contests.

Looks like this AO has generated the least excitement in the forums.

I don't think there's a lack of interest. For whatever reason, many posters have "defected" to an alternate tennis discussion website/message board.

Oh that sucks, as I personally find this forum better than all others. And the fact that I recognize majority of the posters and their player(s) is an added bonus for me. I enjoy lurking here..even if I dont post

And Iona and Kiri were the only most vocal supporters of Andy. Kiri was an admin too right

Didn't know there was an alternate message board...it's rare to find a discussion forum (in the U.S.) that doesn't devolve into name-calling, racist views and bad grammar. I'm happy here.
