This most benefits Li. She's obviously the presumptive finalist in the top half. With Williams out this gives her the opportunity to go into the finals not only the presumptive finalist but also more fresh than Vika or Maria who will have just had a hell match battling each other. I've been saying for years, Maria's game is one of the ugliest out there; esp. with all that groaning, screeching, and whining on the court! She's really unwatchable as far as I'm concerned! She's so over-rated, making it seem like she's a legitimate threat to Serena when she's only won one major match and that was their first at Wimbledon 10 years ago! It's kind of pathetic that the tennis hierachy's been so desperate to have another star, they've elevated her to Gawd-like status after only winning 1 major at each venue over her career! That's no small feat, but others have done so much more and get "nothing" in the way of accolades! :nono
