The Americans always seem to have several guys in Auckland and they generally do pretty well.

The field here, despite being the last week before the Ao is stronger than it was in Chennai.

Disappointed by Tsonga's performance, he had a MP, he should have won

Jack Sock retired in the final against R. Bautista-Agut at 1-6, 0-1.
He had flu and that is too sad after a couple of good wins against Anderson and Ferrer.
I checked in in yesterday for a few games and Jack was hardly moving, bending over after each point like he finished the marathon and netting almost every shot.

Maybe people will cut Tomic and Federer some slack now too since 2 others had flu affecting their game in the last tournament, with Tomic also retiring in his match. Of course a weakened immune system affects your play. Hope to see Jack Sock it to a few players in Melbourne.

Stubbs took a wicked shot at Tomic for retiring, telling him he had no chance in Melbourne and to focus on winning Sydney. The heat was bad, the guy wasn't feeling well and was facing the prospect of playing two matches in one day - due to rain delays.

Yeah, bit harsh really. He's made some serious rises in the rankings lately. She should be proud of him rather than ashamed. Some support that is.
