Brilliant as he can be, he just doesn't want to win. He's down 3-5 and serving at 15-15, and he plays a trickshot that's brilliant, clever...and stupid, illogical, unprofessional, unproductive, contributes nothing to his chances of victory. If I was his coach, I'd be furious... :nono

I would never be his coach in the first place...not worth the effort. The guy will do what he will do.:blush:

Call me old-fashioned but I really hated that. It actually really captures Monfils in a nutshell and shows why he's not good enough.

Exactly. Haas. Took that set and the next, both by 6-3.

These things seem like an afterthought to Gael...
