The year is early and first slam is already being played.
Are you going to see any live Tennis in 2014?
Last year, during the first year of our website, I pushed my case to become a Tennis Frontier Correspondent. I even attended my first event as a correspondent in New Haven although it wasn't quite official. I also made a cameo appearance in New York at the US Open and saw Vika, Ana and Youzny
For 2014, I have the following plans: I am on the east coast of USA, so I only have a choice of 5-6 events to choose from during the entire year, as a result I looked at the 2014 WTA calender and planned early.
My choices are Miami and Charleston in March (Charleston actually ends in April), Washington DC (my town) in July, Cinncinati, New Haven and finally the US Open which spans between august and September.
I have decided in 2014 I will attend at least 2 events plus US Open. For now, as we are early in the year, I am considering my first event, the choice is between Miami and Charleston, Miami is the farthest from me. I'd have to fly to get there. So I have decided on Charleston because I can drive there and also because of the timing, it fits my schedule better. The bonus for me, this is a WTA only event and that's my specialty.
That leaves the rest of the readers of Tennis Frontier...
