Alcaraz' game is literally like Nadal, with tons of incredible shotmaking, very entertaining, so much variety, full of wow moments. Meanwhile Sinner's game is literally like Djokovic with very typical forehand and backhand, mechanical game, efficient but boring. Alcaraz is clearly the superior player but unfortunately he is prone to injuries so Sinner will end up with more stats. This is Nadovic 2.0.

Alcaraz hasn't got a very good serve and so far Sinner has had just as many injuries.

Let's call a spade a spade, the main similarity between Alcaraz and Nadal is the grunting...

The final will be muted for sure here if I bother to watch it. I will watch some alright 'cos barely watched any of this tournament. He's great to watch when he's hitting nice winners, not great when he's serving badly as his game goes to crap but the grunting is bloody awful. I watched highlights of today's match and there were long periods where he didn't grunt much at all. Definitely nowhere near as bad as he usually is so that's good at least. Some days he's unbearable.

My friend we were so blessed.. this is the first French Open Final in 20 years without 1 of the big 3 playing in the final. Federer, Nadal or Djoker. WOW!

Please there is no comparison to Alcaraz v Zverev
Carlos is a shot making that dosent back down and goes after his shots he has more weapons that Zed,,all he has to do is target Zed's fhand win and he will get the errors
Zed relies on his serve and if that is not working, he hasnt really got a B plan at all amd he chokes when the pressure gets too hard
Zed had a easy SF match against Ruud, sad to say Ruud was visibly hampered in their match, after playing a flawless 1s set, Ruud's stomach virus took over had the trainer out and never recovered say to say,he could sustain the level he displayed in the 1st set

Nadalfan2013, finally coming to terms that Rafa's end is nigh, starts figuring out a way to be as annoying as possible in the new configuration of elites.

Btw, I never said I preferred Zverev's game (I don't). I said I think he has a very good shot of winning. His backhand is ridiculously good. I like Alcaraz apart from the grunting (he's not that bad at times at least) and constant appealing to the crowd for applause which gets on my nerves. If they want to clap or cheer, they will. It's tacky.
These were Alcaraz' 2 tournaments leading up the 2022 RG:

Barcelona Open
Barcelona, Spain
ATP Tour 500
Clay, outdoor
18 – 24 April 2022
1RBye
22 / 732RSouth Korea Kwon Soon-woo71Win6–1, 2–6, 6–2
23 / 743RSpain Jaume Munar (WC)101Win6–3, 6–3
24 / 75QFGreece Stefanos Tsitsipas (1)5Win6–4, 5–7, 6–2
25 / 76SFAustralia Alex de Minaur (10)25Win6–7(4–7), 7–6(7–4), 6–4
26 / 77WSpain Pablo Carreño Busta (8)19Win (3)6–3, 6–2
Madrid Open
Madrid, Spain
ATP Tour Masters 1000
Clay, outdoor
1 – 8 May 2022
1RBye
27 / 782RGeorgia (country) Nikoloz Basilashvili27Win6–3, 7–5
28 / 793RUnited Kingdom Cameron Norrie (9)11Win6–4, 6–7(4–7), 6–3
29 / 80QFSpain Rafael Nadal (3)4Win6–2, 1–6, 6–3
30 / 81SFSerbia Novak Djokovic (1)1Win6–7(5–7), 7–5, 7–6(7–5)
31 / 82WGermany Alexander Zverev (2)3Win (4)6–3, 6–1

So he was definitely one of the big favorites going in RG that year, and ended the year winning his first slam and being no.1. Zverev btw after that win over Alcaraz also gave Nadal his most difficult match at RG in 2022 before his awful injury. I don't know why you guys are underestimating Zverev, he has literally won 2 Rome and 2 Madrid titles.
I have been saying the same thing, Zverev has a good chance of winning on Sunday.
