Serena and Rafael Nadal have now won each Grand Slam together - the Australian Open (2009), the French Open (2013), Wimbledon (2010) and the US Open (2013) - they are the first male-female pair in the entire history of tennis, not just in the Open Era, to win all four Grand Slams together!

That's really cool. They're each other's lucky charm.

Also Serena and Djokovic have never won a slam together.

Funnily, they coincided in a lot of tournaments this year. Both won titles in:

Madrid
Rome
Roland Garros
Canada
US Open

Interesting Slam stats, and of course, Serena and Rafa have been the best players in 2013 itself. They both had a standout year, and especially Rafa with his comeback.

What's also interesting is where they didn't both win a title, they had the opposite result: where both were in the final and lost to their main rival and #2 ranked player (Vika winning Cinci over Serena and Novak winning Beijing over Rafa.)
