Pavs has reached her first major final after 14 years and appearing in her 52nd Grand Slam main draw.
Pavs is bidding to become the 4th Russian woman to win Coupe Suzanne Lenglen (Myskina 2004,Kuznetsova 2009,Sharapova 2012,2014).

Babs is also in the s/finals of the doubles with Siniakova (they play their s/final match later today).
Babs is trying to become the 1st woman to sweep Roland Garros since Mary Pierce (2000).The last woman to make the finals of both was another Czech,Lucie Safarova in 2015 ( won doubles with Mattek Sands).
