Halep is finding her clay form well at the right end of this tournament....she was impressive in her last match.Halep in straight sets.

After lackluster performance in first two rounds, Halep is round up to form. She spent just 45 minutes on court in her last match while delivering bakery products. I don't think Anisimova stands a chance, despite me liking her.

Apart from that dip when up 4:1 in the 2nd set Anisimova played really good.

Well my my. She pulled it off. Played LIGHTS OUT! And Halep just not quite good enough to handle the surprise and pressure. So impressive this whole tournament.

And she'll get Barty.

So all of last year's semifinalists are gone. Which is not surprising. Save maybe for Halep. We'll absolutely have a new champion. A new first time slam champion. And I can see all of them pulling it off.

Anisimova executing seriously aggressive tennis just like Konta. Would love to see that match up. But would like to see all of the match ups possible. Really don't care who wins. We'll see if experience prevails in the semis and Barty and Konta make the final or if one or both of the youngsters can pull the upsets. They're definitely hungry. But they all are.
