If Ash can use her bhand slice,I feel she has one of the best bhand slices in the WTA,especially on clay it drops low,like she did in her match against Kenin,serve like she did,though it did dip a bit in the 2nd set I feel she can win this match.Ash did defeat Keys on HC in their Fed Cup match.Ash has done so well in the clay season so far just to make the quarter finals,her game does translate well on clay......Ash in 3 sets,hopefully 2 sets

Update from officials no play before 3.30pm local time.Just saw a live photo of the grounds I will be very surprised if play does start at 3.30pm looks very bleak and overcast indeed.

Lovely sunshine today....complete contrast from yesterday.
Ash won the toss and will serve first....court Susane Lenglan is much faster than main court.
Emmanuel Joseph is the chair umpire from France
