Dustin Brown getting a run out too.

Should be some decent grass court tennis and a good opportunity to see Zverev on grass.

Chung/Escobedo is an early young guns match up. And I see that Kokkinakis is in on PR.

He's turned into (or ever was) a good doubles player. Istomin doesn't seem to be riding on the coattails of his defeat of Djokovic at the AO.

No title for Mischa, who lost to Lopez, and Sasha lost the first set to Gilles Muller in a TB. He needs some work on his net game, and Muller is a wiley vet, who has a game that translates nicely to grass.

Muller progresses into the final. Sasha is unproven on grass as of date.

Results from the Den Bosch Open Men's Singles Semifinal matches on Saturday
3-Ivo Karlovic (Croatia) beat 1-Marin Cilic (Croatia) 7-6(4) 5-7 7-6(2)
4-Gilles Muller (Luxembourg) beat 2-Alexander Zverev (Germany) 7-6(5) 6-2

Tad disappointed with Sascha going out to Muller. Not a huge shock by any means... just fancied him to get the job done here and add to his grass court experience. Would have had Cilic to beat Karlo too if I was betting.

Final: Karlovic (3) v Muller (4)

H2H; Dr Ivo leads 3-1

2016 Newport F Grass Ivo Karlovic Gilles Muller 6-7(2) 7-6(5) 7-6(12)
2016 's-Hertogenbosch SF Grass Gilles Muller Ivo Karlovic 7-6(5) 7-6(4)
2003 Binghamton Challenger R32 Hard Ivo Karlovic Gilles Muller 6-1 6-1
2002 Queen's SF Grass Ivo Karlovic Gilles Muller 4-6 6-2 7-6(8)

I felt that Sasha exposed his inexperience on grass v. Muller. He makes rookie mistakes about how and when to go to net. He should play more doubles with his brother. Frankly, it lowered my expectations of him as a spoiler at Wimbledon.

For a good baseliner like Sasha it still takes time to master the game on grass. He will get there in a couple of years. I was shocked to see how high expectations some of the posters had from him at SW19

Delighted for Muller. He has the perfect game for grass and hope he takes some scalps at Wimbledon. Tough opponent for anyone.
