He's turned into (or ever was) a good doubles player. Istomin doesn't seem to be riding on the coattails of his defeat of Djokovic at the AO.

No title for Mischa, who lost to Lopez, and Sasha lost the first set to Gilles Muller in a TB. He needs some work on his net game, and Muller is a wiley vet, who has a game that translates nicely to grass.

I felt that Sasha exposed his inexperience on grass v. Muller. He makes rookie mistakes about how and when to go to net. He should play more doubles with his brother. Frankly, it lowered my expectations of him as a spoiler at Wimbledon.

For a good baseliner like Sasha it still takes time to master the game on grass. He will get there in a couple of years. I was shocked to see how high expectations some of the posters had from him at SW19
