Quite simply the tournament hasn't started yet. Dimitrov v Simon might be worth a glance but nothing to get the juices flowing

I checked the whether forecast and it does not look promising for the rest of the day for outer courts.
The officials have not called it off and still holding hopes. Thanks to Willis, Roger will get his match done.

p.s. I hope Daniel Evans wins against Dog so that Roger can get through his next match also independent of rain.

Lol. Novak was serving for the match and played a loose game while Mannarino went for his shots. Tiebreaker. The little lefty is quite a scrapper. I like it.

Novak now has more consecutive major wins than any other ATP player?? Is that correct?

This guy Willis is kind of hanging in with Roger (although the score is 3-0 for Fed). Willis earned a break point on Roger's serve already (there were no break points against Roger in the entire first match). Also, as usual Roger needed 4 chances to break once.

Willis both played and behaved decently. He certainly acquitted himself. :clap

Lots of drop shots, serve and volley and fairly unorthodox.

Roger won the second and third sets with just one break. I was expecting a two break sets in 2 and 3.

Nice of Roger to hang back and let Willis enjoy the moments after the match up. :clap

In Wimbledon (unlike in other GSs), Men's doubles is a best of 5 affair (and that too with no TB in the fifth set). This year due to rain and all the backlog, they decided to curtail the first round doubles matches to best of 3.

Three days of play is over. But, six first round matches are still to be completed.
Only folks that moved to the third round are Fed and Nole.
