when did Kerber become this solid player? Its nice to see someone being so consistant, our than Serena.

Well now that Azarenka and Sharapova are out who was there to stop Kerber from gaining any traction as Azarenka and Sharapova were usually dependable for making it far in tournaments there hasn't been anyone to put a dent in that confidence.

Vinci ran out of belief. She had it early on in the match, but Kerbie wore her down to take the match 7-5 6-0.

Caro moves on to the SF w/o much fuss from her injured opponent 6-0 6-2. I think she has a small chance against Kerbie.
