Anything can happen in this one. I can see why Raonic might have problems playing against Gael. Monfils probably stands so far back that Raonic's serve is not as effective against him. And once it becomes a baseline slug fest anything can happen. Of all the combos for the final a Federer - Monfils one would be great (from my perspective!). In summary, on the one hand I would expect Milos to win this one, but on the other hand given the h2h and what Gael brings to the table I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Gael wins this one in 4

Raonic may be a little gassed after his win against Stan, but his confidence took a big step up. If he's rested and sharp, he can take down the clown in three. Four if Monfils puts on a show.

While I expect Milos to win. Le Monf has that thing about him. If he's dialled in, it's the sort of match that can ruin Milos. Let's face it, his edge is still his serve. I see Gael standing back a mile and just hacking the ball back in, which means that Milos will be forced to create a ton of winners. I know his baseline game has improved, but I'm not sure he'll be able to cope with the sort of scrutiny a Monfils game brings. Even if Milos wins it's going to be brutal, and don't forget he's going to play against a retrieving machine who can generate stupid power off both wings when he feels like it

I concur @herios - I don't think the H2H will have much impact here and think Milos can take this.

Raonic has one of the best inside out forehands in the game currently. If Monfils tries that too much he will be hit off the court.

I expect this one to get better as it goes along.
