Serena leads the series 8-0

They've met on clay 5 times, the most recent being a 3 set battle at Fed Cup in April. That match was the most competitive match they've played.

Finally, Serena will remind us that she knows how to win in two.

However, Errani likes Clay and is good baseline player and so it will be two tight sets.
Something like 7-5, 6-4.

Serena in straights... She knows she only has 3 more matches to win.

Serena Williams will benefit from playing against the smurf, she will pound her 6-0 6-0 or 6-1- 6-1, just lay down the hammer with getting back into her serving motionless serve

I certainly agree that Serena has to be terribly for this not to be an easy win. She is going to go to town on that serve

^ She better....it's not all the time every 1st serve is a 2nd serve. But then again, doesn't Serena struggle against lack of pace?

CSN can't win a set off Serena on clay, and she's a better Sara Errani than Sara Errani is.

Serena in 2, one set a bagel, the other not close either.

Well let's hope that Serena is about making her life easier and not more difficult tomorrow.

I hope Serena is serious and doesn't mess this up! Her path to another French has never looked this clear before.

I agree!

My personal opinion is, her biggest threat was defeated today, Muguruza.

Very clever. I like CSN and Errani, but Serena eats them for lunch.

I agree, but she won't mess this up.

This will be an easy match for her. I think AP is right: something like 6-1, 6-0.

I'll go with Serena in 3. She hasn't been convincing for the whole match yet.

I just don't ever feel better until Serena is past the QF of the French. She has messed up so many times where she shouldn't have in the QF.

I'll be shocked if Errani wins a set off of Serena. But then again, Serena has been playing Sharapova-style so she may not get into the match until the middle of the second set. :snicker[/align]

Serena in straights. She can't afford any of that 3-set business today. Both SF are played tomorrow and no rest for her side of the draw.

Serena-Errani has to be the most predictable matchup in the history of women's tennis. I'm shocked that Errani has even won a set off of Serena in the past.
