Novak in 4. 3 tight sets and then I expect him to pull away. Only because I feel he's just mentally and physically stronger. But if Rafa brings his all time greatness then it could become epic. I have only one thing to say though..

BRING IT ON!!! :popcorn

I am going with Djokovic in 4 sets. I think he knows this is his shot, and he won't blow it.

I'm picking Novak in three. This is his now or never year. Needs to make a statement and then move on to Murray and Fed.

It will be historic if he ends up beating Nadal, Murray, and Federer (respectively) to complete the career slam.

I am also going for Novak in 4. He will get it done this time.

Also, I expect a good quality match as Rafa's movement seems to have improved.

Would be pretty hilarious if he beat Nadal and Murray and lost to Roger. :snicker

Djoker in three, since Nadal lost a set today, and almost went to 5 sets to some unknown.

I'm going with Novak in five. Clay match during the day at sea level at Chartier, Nadal will be hard to beat. Weather forecast is also pretty decent.

*sarcasm mode on*

Let's hope the rumours Sepp Blatter will be the umpire on Wednesday are not true. That would be seriously outrageous.

Novak in four. That said, I'm not writing off Nadal completely. This is Rafa at Roland Garros - the most dominant player-tournament combo in tennis history. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him find his level. Clearly Novak is playing at an absurd level and Rafa has struggled this year, but again: Rafa + Roland Garros = 70-1.

How did he look today vs Sock? I didn't get to watch any of it, only saw the results.

That is what I am hoping for. But the way Ferrer took down Cilic today, I'm not so sure Murray will be in the semis. And until Novak actually wins, I can't count that as a given either. :snicker

For viewers in US, ESPN2 has graciously decided to show this QF match and has block of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. booked for this. Although this would make common sense, tennis TV broadcast in US often does not follow common sense and so I thank them.

Is Paris at sea level? I thought it was much higher than sea level.

No that part of Europe is fairly flat. North and east of there it slopes higher into the Alps of course, but not there in Paris

I'm going with an upset and picking Nadal in 5 sets. Why not?

Chatrier is at 38m (125 feet). i reckon that qualifies as sea level, considering that the courts in Monte Carlo, right by the sea, are actually on 46 m (152 feet).
