They've only met once, a straight setter at the QF of Charleston in 2013 on clay.

Who ya got: The old school or the new guard?

I am staying with the 'old guard' Venus to win in 3 sets.I just think at this level of a Grand Slam,Venus will have more experience. In saying that I have been delighted in the way Maddie has been playing,Davenport has been a excellent choice of coach for Maddie.

I think Madison is going to brush Venus aside.

I think Venus proved herself in the last round. She beat a surging Aga even though the match went the distance to 3 sets. I think Venus is feeling really good this week and she isn't really going to be subject to nerves. That being said, Keys has far surpassed my expectations. I never really thought she had the x factor. Maybe I was wrong.

I agree. Plus, Venus wants to play her sister on the big stage again. She'll be motivated, and she has the experience and the game to do this. Venus in three.

Do you think Keys is the next American star or is she media hype like Sloane Stephens and Melanie Oudin?

Good question, but it's too soon to tell -- as we now know because of the hype which surrounded players like Stephens and Oudin. One or two big wins, and the media treats them like they're the next big thing, only to see them come back down to earth very quickly.

I think Keys is onto a good thing with Davenport, and I hope her success will continue, but we can't know yet.

Both players kind of struggled in their first service games, after that both players have been comfortable,no break of serve to either player as yet.
