I almost forgot to open this thread. Some people have already departed, but we'll include their fashions anyway.

I like Caro's dress. I hate the fluorescent stuff that Vika is wearing.

It does. I've seen a few players wearing Venus' designs, plus she sells them inexpensively on her website.

Hmm...I actually don't mind Sharapova's outfit....there's some sexiness to it, wit the cut outs. Need to see it from the back on her to confirm.:)

You don't have to wait long as she usually turns her back to the opponents when things are
not going well and indulges in a 5 minute soliloquy.

A few thoughts...

Nike has become REALLY boring. At least for a few years they were trying to be fashion forward for Maria and Serena. Now its just basic with minor flourishes.

I know everyone hates most of Stella's dresses for Caroline but I have loved almost all of them. From a fashion perspective they are daring and adventive. This dress is actually bar far the best. It flatters her beautifully and still has elements of fashion.

Wait...Lucie has a Nike sponsorship?! How?!

WEAK effort on Genie's outfit.

I long for the late 90s early 2000s when Venus and Serena would try things however crazy they may be. Venus' outfit looks like its from the discount bin at TJ Maxx.

Nike has Lost The Plot,to me they need a new designer.

My favorite so far is Caroline Woznicaki, thank goodness Stella didnt put her in frills and flounces

I Love the shape on Caroline and the print....Well done Stella for a change:)

I think for Nike they are trying to be basic and just put out a design they think the average tennis player would wear. By the way, I hate the bottom color they chose on Serena's dress. I wish they had added a nice neon orange or pink to the bottom instead. I think of them all, I like Venus' the best. The problem with Caroline's dresses for me is the fit always looks awkward on her.

Personally I do not like what Serena is wearing to the AO this year at all.The bottom half of the dress just dosent sit right on her for some reason,I watched Serena in her first rd match,I prefer Serena in something more structured.

I mean... Nike is the biggest name in tennis. They could put a little more fashion.

Well, today's match gave you lot of opportunities to see Dominatrix's back. It is not all
that sexy though. The cut should be little wider and should be pushed up little more to
make it sexy.

I really like Masha's dress, Serena's is nice too but too many layers and straps.
Lots of pink this year.

I don't get the fascination with insanely intense colors, really. It's like we're dulled by staring always in some phone/tablet/PC screen, and we need even more strident colors? This candy shop approach I would think rocks the socks off little kindergartners, maybe... but for a normal human being over say... 10 years old I don't get it...
So that I'm clear on the issue, I hated this when it involved just one insane color in a kit, now we have like 3 patches of over-saturated color in the same dress, like seriously? On a TV screen you cannot see any shade or folds or anything, it's like someone squirted a color tube on the screen. I have no idea how it looks in real life, but on media it sucks.

I think they do it for a few reasons. 1 they want take a risk with color and not shape. The shapes they are making are sellable. The outfits are simple shapes that can be instantly sold. They keep doing different colors because they can at least say its different from any other season.
