Best: Slams (of course), Halle, Dubai. Federer is collecting all the best trophies.

Cheapest: Delray Beach (ash tray?)

Yummiest: Montepillier (Pizza anyone?)

Overcompensating: London

Dumbest: Bastad (when pigs fly?)

Lamest: All glass trophies. Hate em.

Thanks RB. Fixed. For some reason, I automatically think that any tournament that makes you wear a sombrero is a 250, nothing more. :p

Of the Slams, I still love the Australian Open trophy the best. Beautiful. And the Davis Cup trophy is also hard to beat.

Delray Beach looks more like a Dollar Store candy dish. Wait until Cinci rolls around. That one looks like a 2nd hand vase from the 5 and dime.

Miami's is horrible too. There is nothing nice about getting a glass vase as a tournament trophy. Even Indian Wells. You have to climb a ladder and look down on it to discover that it's shaped in the tournament's logo and not just a chunk of glass. And Delray Beach. That is just horrible. Is that all they could afford. The winner of the high school tournament at the school where I teach way down here in this sleepy bedtown in southern Japan gets a nicer trophy than that.
