Brazil was saved by the goal post. We are lucky, the whole country could have rioted had they lost.

James Rodriguez is the breakout player of the tournament. That goal was sensational. Reminds me of the goal Maxi Rodriguez scored for Argentina vs. Mexico in 2006.

Brazil have looked pretty underwhelming so far and lucked out against Chile. Colombia could really give them hell in the quarters.

apparently his name is not pronounced "james" but ham-ez (the "ham" part spoken like the first part of "juan").

el legendino aka tim vickery said if you call him james in an interview he stops and leaves as he hates being called "james".

anyway.."JAMES" scored twice, he has 4 or 5 goals now.

Ha...I'm currently on vacation in Lebanon, and the Arabic commentator kept pronouncing his name "hamez" which irritated the hell out of me. Guess he was on to something.

I thought the Dutch were on their way out, and Sneijder comes with a laser in the 87th minute. I am curious to see how the Mexicans react to the equalizer. The Dutch really look sluggish. I am not sure if it is due to the weather.

RVP was a none factor today as he was a bit off but also defended superbly. In fact, Mexico defended superbly for 88 minutes. Not much they could have done with the Sneider goal and the penalty was a penalty as well. 1 minute to go...
