Serena is a much better player than her 2009 form, like wise Sveta is a much worse player than her 2009 form. Logically speaking Serena in two comfortable sets. But that is RG... and who knows with the RG demons

the Serena of 09 was not confident and fit,2013 Serena is very focused and will not let Sveta into the match plus they played on a very slow Lenglen surface andthey kept on watering the courts for some reason...I feel that this year is the year..for redemption.

I'm not saying Serena will be nervous. If anything, she'll probably use it as fuel to avenge that loss, but it is an important match in the rivalry because of the surface and venue of Tuesday's match.

I think you're probably right on this one, tossip. No one is betting against Serena at this point....her game is solid, and all she has is the pressure. I'd say it's not Serena against the field, but Serena against herself. And she seems to be handling the pressure very nicely.

I rarely make predictions, because I've been wrong to often, and after awhile, one whom has been incorrect a lot should be smart enough to keep certain thought and beliefs to themselves. So, that what I've done..

We will see if she makes it past Sveta then I can't see anyone taking this title from Serena that is left in the draw. She has looked the best of all the top players this tournament. I hope she comes out with a positive mindset tomorrow and brings her A Game!
