Aga leads the H2H 6-1

http://www.wtatennis.com/head2head/player1/10077/player2/11530

Aga has won the two most recent meetings, including a straight setter on the blue clay of Madrid last year.

Who wins between these two counter-punchers?

Aga might win because she has more weapons...

Radwanska will not wear out Errani because she can run and run all day long...plus has more experience on clay.

I'm with Denisovich: Aga in three. For me, it's nothing personal against Errani; I just really like Aga's game.

I am picking Aggie in straights.

I voted against Aga in her match with Ana because Aga has a tough time generating pace on clay. However, I predict Aga to win since Errani is not a power player.

just heard that Hampton and Mattek are hitting with Serena,I hope they dont turn around and call her names to the media.Ijust dont trust these younger American girls...hopefully they are not using Serena .
I hope Serena doesnt get too buddy buddy with these girls, she should learn from Venus who kept these girls at arm s length.Serena should remember when Mattek said that she wanted ...the core...group to play Fed Cup and that was Mattek Huber and Oudin..
look at what Sloane did after ..
Serena run away from these underachievers....

Don't take this personal, but what? When has Hampton or Mattek-Sands ever had anything negative to say about anyone. Anyone who takes Serena to task after the Sloane debacle would be a grade A moron as we saw that it backfired royally in that player's face. I think it is great for Serena to hit with them. She seems just as happy with the American success here as a lot of people are.

If Errani isn't injured then I am going with Errani. Errani is on her favored surface and is just as crafty as Aga.

The schedule has been released. Serena/Sveta at 2pm on Lenglen followed by a men's match. Aga/Sara on Chatrier at 2pm followed by a men's match.

Tossip,

Do not flood this thread w/ comments about anything but the match between Aga and Sara.

I can't call this one! On clay, Errani's power's are just as good as Aga's is on other surfaces.

Agree! This one is a toss-up. Most of the votes are for either player to win in 3 sets. Aga has more weapons, but Errani is a clay court specialist. Good luck to both women, I think both are fantastic players. :clap

Errani played well in doubles today so maybe her injury is not so bad....give Errani the advantage because of experience on the surface and at RG...

Like you said the battle of two counter punchers, both of home will turn into just mere punching bags for Rena, Pova and Vika.. I will flip a coin and go with the A R:(

And the winner is Sara Errani in straights 64, 76. Great win for Serrani who's facing Serena next. Maybe she too can take a set? I hope so because it makes the match so much more entertaining and thrilling
