Petra leads the H2H 2-0

Petra has won both meetings on a hard court. The last one being a straight setter in the Fed Cup finals in November 2012.

I am thinking Petra in 2 unless she has one of those Petra lapses!
But I picked what my heart wanted, Jelena in 3

I think we should call them Petra Periods!
But that may sound offensive to the Ladies, Petra Lapses it will be!

I don't think either win will be an easy rollover. JJ will get a ton of balls back (much like Kerber did last week) and force Petra into errors. She will probably win, but it won't be easy. As far as the Serena match, sure Petra can win, but again there won't be anything easy about it. She will have to serve her best and go after her FH before Serena does.

Given recent history, I don't see Petra winning in two against anyone. I pick Petra and Serena to make the finals.

Well noted Kiu. JJ takes her shot. She loses the first set breaker, but would only lose 2 games going forward 6-7 6-1 6-1

It wasn't a lapse. It was just exhaustion. After so many long matchech in 2 weeks... it's natural. Apart from that she withdraw from Linz because of Low Back Injury. So it might be another reason.
