The men's singles has moved on to the individual threads, but I wanted to discuss the doubles here. "Special K" (Kyrgios/Kokkinakis) have put a big focus on the doubles. They could even win it. (I believe the quote from Kyrgios after the last round was "I fucking want to win it.") Some good pairs still in. Anyone else watching? They face Granollers/Zeballos next, who are a very seasoned team.

I think it is wonderful to see fans now at the AO rushing to see the Special K's ,I have always been a fan of doubles.
In saying that I think Nick and Thanasi need to take it down a couple of notches in their matches and against their opponents.
I feel their 'on court'' behavior is 'boderline' at times. They rev up the crowd against their opponents, making the fans boo at any given chance. To me this is pure 'gamesmenship' ,I think they go to far at times.

TA has released more tickets to their match today on RLA and you can get in on a ground pass which is great value
TA has also said they are raising the capacity from 50% to 65% for the rest of the tournament.

The eye test says that the Special K matches have been way above capacity already. ;)

Fognini/Bollelli went out to Ram/Salisbury. Special K have Granollers/Zeballos, a very experienced team. I do think they have to quit horsing around to win. (And by "they," I mainly mean Nick.)

It is rare to see this fervor for doubles. While I normally like the Granollers/Zeballos team, I'm going Aussie...oi, oi, oi!

They’re doing very well especially considering they’re not doubles specialists, yet playing a very successful doubles team.

Nick needs to be careful with his behavior. The racket smashing and obscenities will get them defaulted if enough add up.
Thanasi has always been the more 'level headed' player in this team
